Thank you for your interest in the Cedar Creek Hobbies’ Cosplay Contest, which will take place inside Augustus Tower Ballroom at Caesars Windsor on the main stage (theatre) on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.

Special Notes:

• Registration must be completed no later than Thursday, September 21, 2023,by 8:00 p.m.
• Kids can register for the Cedar Creek Hobbies’ Kids’ Contest online or at Cosplay Registration on-site at the convention until 1:00 p.m. in the Enchanted Adventure Parties’ Kids’ Zone by Sunday, October 1, 2023.
• Cosplay Contest check-in must be completed by 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023, outside the Cartoon Kingdom Theatre, third floor, in The Augustus Tower. During this time, you will be provided a number for your place inline.
• The Cosplay Contest will take place after a Cosplay Panel on the main stage (theatre). Don’t forget your assigned number!

Cosplay Content Categories: 

Kids Contest: For children under 10 years of age. 

Walk-On: For individuals who have made no part (or very little) of their costume but simply want to show it off. No awards will be given in this category, but you could win the crowd’s favourite (see details below). 

Novice: For individuals who have not taken part in a contest before. It is your first time making a costume or competing. 

Advanced: For individuals who feel confident in their craft and/or have won a contest before. 

Journeyman: For those who are skill-perfecting their craft and have entered a contest at least once before. 

Crowd Favourite: For the person picked as an overall favourite by the crowd.

Note: There will also be awards where judges pick their favourite of the day beyond the other categories. The winner will win a certificate.
