CG REALM CHARITY AUCTION BENEFITS ASSISTED LIVING SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO
The Game MD Rallies from Defeat to Promote Premiere Auction Item
Windsor, ON. The CG Realm Charity Auction (CGRCA) will debut at the Northern National Collectors’ Convention at Caesars Windsor from September 29 to October 1, 2023.Fans, sponsors, celebrities, staff, and volunteers are all welcome to take part in the auction, which will benefit Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario (ALSO). Presented by Brimstone Games, the convention will feature the Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience.
“We are grateful to the team at The CG Realm who have stepped forward to deliver the auction to support Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario,” says Northern National President Jeremy Renaud.
The CG Realm employee, Shawn Cyr, is head auctioneer supported by fellow staff led by owner Jeremy Richard.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the show, enhancing the fan experience to support Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario,” says Richard.“Programs of this nature are the main staples of fan experience programs at similar events like Gen Con in the US. We couldn’t be happier to be involved.”
The CG Realm Charity Auction will take place inside the Augustus Tower, Caesars Windsor on Saturday, September 30, 2023, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Fans, exhibitors, sponsors, and guest celebrities are invited to submit items to be auctioned off to support ALSO. Participants can drop off items to The CG Realm, 1214 Ottawa St. Windsor, Ontario (enter at back) before 6 p.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2023, or Caesars Windsor, 377 Riverside Dr. E., Windsor, Ontario, Augustus Tower (3rd floor), Friday, September 29, 2023, between 4 and 8 p.m.
The Game MD (5452 Tecumseh Rd. E. Windsor, Ontario) has generously donated the premier auction item, a Call of Duty poster signed by the entire team at Infinity Ward. A decade ago, someone broke into The Game MD and stole $70,000 worth of merchandise, including every copy of Call of Duty: Ghosts. As news travelled around the world. Infinity Ward learned about the break-in and theft and sent a unique care package to the local business. They will support ALSO through this gift.
“It was very tough on our business when the break-in occurred,” says The Game MD co-owner, Dawn McLean. “We were grateful for the community’s support, including Infinity Ward, who brought us back to full strength. Now, we can pay it forward to support Assisted Living Southwestern Ontario.”
“We are very grateful to the small business community of Windsor-Essex County who have banded together to advance the vision and mission of our organization,” says ALSO Executive Director, Leigh Vachon. “We encourage participants of all ages to take part in this auction to support the individuals we serve.”

About Northern National: Brimstone Games presents the Northern National Collectors’ Convention (Northern National) will take place inside the Augustus Tower at Caesars Windsor from September 29 to October 1, 2023. The regional Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience (CKFX) will be co-launched with the national event.
