NORTHERN NATIONAL OPENS ARTIST, EXHIBITOR, AND SPONSOR REGISTRATION
National Convention Seeks Official Charity Beneficiary
Windsor, ON. The Northern National Collectors’ Convention (Northern National) and Windsor Fan Experience (WFX) are pleased to appoint local area retailers Brimstone Games and Cartoon Kingdom as title sponsors for its inaugural hybrid show taking place at Caesars Windsor later this Fall.
“Brimstone Games is excited to partner with the Northern National. We look forward to showing Trading Card Game (TCG) and sports fans what we’re all about,” says Brimstone Games owner, Sean Mangin. “We are working hard to develop fun and unique programming that will drive excitement while bringing fans along for a great ride!”
Brimstone Games will serve as the title sponsor for the Northern National and will receive a myriad of branding and presentation rights while sponsoring guest appearances, facilitating on-site programming, and prize contests.
Local area business Cartoon Kingdom’s title sponsorship for the Windsor Fan Experience will kick off their Anniversary Celebration. For 25 years, Cartoon Kingdom has been releasing the imagination of people of all ages within the communities of Windsor-Essex County and beyond through their unparalleled selection of toys, games, statues, and more.
“We’re thrilled to be helping to bring a show of this magnitude back to Windsor,” says Cartoon Kingdom Co-owner Nathaniel St. Pierre.
Cartoon Kingdom has supported countless events in the past while giving back to many organizations in the community including, but not limited to, the Kiwanis Club Sunshine Point Camp, Fight Like Mason Foundation, and Easter Seals. For their support, this side of the convention will be rebranded as the Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience with a variety of branding and presentation rights while sponsoring guest appearances, on-site programming, and prize contests.
“The Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience gives us an incredible opportunity to celebrate our 25th anniversary in style,” says St. Pierre. “This event will generate unique experiences for all fans who attend and also allows us a special way of saying thanks for their support since our humble beginnings in 1998.”
About the Northern National: Brimstone Games presents the Northern National Collectors’ Convention (Northern National) will take place inside the Augustus Tower at Caesars Windsor, from September 29 to October 1, 2023. The regional Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience (CKFX), will be co-launched with the national event.
The Northern National will have all the accents of a traditional card expo but will more importantly enable the Trading Card Game (TCG) community (including brands ranging from Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z) to have a national presence in Canada. Along with CKFX, it will be a hybrid convention with all the trimmings of a pop culture event with celebrities, athletes, and much more.
