NORTHERN NATIONAL LAUNCHES DISNEY LORCANA STARTER DECK TOURNAMENT
Guardian Comics to Lead and Sponsor Inaugural Event
Windsor, ON. Windsor’s Northern National Collectors’ Convention and Sponsor Guardian Comics will host Disney Lorcana Starter Deck Tournament at Caesars Windsor on September 30, 2023.
“We are excited to launch the Disney Lorcana Starter Deck Tournament,” says Guardian Comics’ business owner Eric Fournier, Tournament Coordinator (TC). “This will be the first-ever tournament of its kind launched at a national event in Canada.”
The Guardian Comics’ Disney Lorcana Starter Deck Tournament will provide players with a small, 64-seed entry-level event on a local scale. This event is a great way to learn more about the game and prepare participants for premier events.

Friday to Sunday (all three days):
Weekend ticket is valid for one admission and is good for:
- General access to the show on Friday (2-8 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m.-6 p.m.), and Sunday (10 a.m.-4 p.m.)
- Player entry into the Guardian Comics’ Starter Deck Disney Lorcana Tournament on Saturday (11 a.m.-3 p.m.)
- One (1) Starter Deck (with accessory booster pack provided after the tournament)
- Prizes for Top Contestants
Price: $60+HST
Children 11 years of age and under must be accompanied by one paid parent or guardian.

About the Northern National: Brimstone Games presents the Northern National Collectors’ Convention (Northern National) will take place inside the Augustus Tower at Caesars Windsor from September 29 to October 1, 2023. Regional Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience (CKFX) will be co-launched with the national event.
The Northern National will have all the accents of a traditional card expo and will enable the Trading Card Game (TCG) community (including brands ranging from Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z) to have a national presence in Canada. The convention will be a hybrid with CKFX and the works of a pop culture event, including celebrities, athletes, and more.
