NORTHERN NATIONAL LAUNCHES FIRST-EVER POKEMON TRIPLE CROWN TOURNAMENT
Local Area Business F&C House of Cards to Lead and Sponsor Event
Windsor, ON. Northern National Collectors’ Convention and Gold Sponsor F&C House of Cards are co-hosting the world’s first-ever Pokémon TCG Triple Crown tournament.
Fans from Canada and the US will have the opportunity to participate in individual tournaments including a Pokémon TCG League Challenge and two Pokémon TCG League Cup Tournaments at Caesars Windsor from September 29-October 1, 2023.
“We are excited to provide leadership and help in launching the Triple Crown tournament,” says local F&C House of Cards business owner Carol Safou. “This will be the first-ever tournament of its kind within a 300 km radius between Toronto and Chicago. We couldn’t be happier for fans.”
Local Windsorite and Pokémon Professor John Salalila has been appointed to the role of Tournament Coordinator (TC).
“I can’t wait to work with the Northern National team and Pokémon judges to deliver this three-day event!” says Salalila.“It will give players of all ages and abilities the chance to participate and have fun!”
Pokémon TCG League Challenge
Friday, September 28, 2023: $20 CDN
- General access to the show from 2 to 8 pm
- Player entry into the Pokémon TCG League Challenge between 7 to 11 pm
Pokémon TCG League Cup Tournaments
Saturday, September 29, 2023, one-day ticket: $40 CDN
- General access to the show from 10 am to 6 pm; and
- Player entry to the Pokémon TCG League Cup Tournament between 4 to 11 pm
Sunday, October 1, 2023, one-day ticket: $30 CDN
- General access to the show from 10 am to 4 pm
- Player entry to the Pokémon TCG League Cup Tournament between 10 am to 6 pm
Pokémon TCG Triple Crown Weekend
Regular Weekend, all three days: $75 CDN
- General access to the show on Friday (2 to 8 pm), Saturday (10 am to 6 pm), and Sunday (10 am to 4 pm)
- Player entry into the Pokémon TCG League Challenge on Friday (7 to 11 pm) plus Pokémon TCG League Cup Tournaments on Saturday (4 to 11 pm) and Sunday (10 am to 6 pm) respectively.

About the Northern National: Brimstone Games presents the Northern National Collectors’ Convention (Northern National) will take place inside the Augustus Tower at Caesars Windsor from September 29 to October 1, 2023. Regional Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience (CKFX) will be co-launched with the national event.
The Northern National will have all the accents of a traditional card expo and will enable the Trading Card Game (TCG) community (including brands ranging from Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z) to have a national presence in Canada. The convention will be a hybrid with CKFX and the works of a pop culture event, including celebrities, athletes, and more.
