Bob West to make first-ever Canadian Convention appearance!
Windsor, ON. Bob West will make his first-ever Canadian appearance at the Northern National Collectors’ Convention at Caesars Windsor, from September 29 to October 1, 2023. Presented by Brimstone Games, the convention will feature the Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience.
West was the voice of Barney, a beloved character in the 1990s, known around the world.
In addition to his iconic role as Barney, West voiced the animatronics characters Jasper and Pasqually at Chuck E. Cheese’s for ten years and has maintained a parallel career as a creative director and graphic designer. He recently designed production graphics for the new Disney+ hit series The Muppets Mayhem (2023)and has worked on many other TV series and feature films including The Rookie (2021), Speechless (2016-19), The Muppets (ABC, 2015-16), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), The Italian Job (2003), and Down with Love (2003).
“I’m excited to meet with Barney fans of all ages at the Northern National this fall,” says West.
West will appear at the convention for all three days. Autographs, selfies, and professional photo opportunities will be available for sale.
“We’re excited for children and families to meet this living legend in Windsor later this fall,” says Northern National President Jeremy Renaud.

About the Northern National: Brimstone Games presents the Northern National Collectors’ Convention (Northern National) will take place at Augustus Tower, Caesars Windsor, September 29 to October 1, 2023. The regional Cartoon Kingdom Fan Experience (CKFX) will be co-launched with the national event.
The Northern National will have all the accents of a traditional card expo allowing the Trading Card Game (TCG) community (including brands ranging from Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, and Dragon Ball Z) a national presence in Canada. Along with CKFX, it will be a hybrid convention with all the trimmings of a pop culture event with celebrities, athletes, and much more.
